Birthday badges from Uncle Bryan. |
Goodie bags. |
We had the most terrific time today.
Last day of school.
Hurrah!
Holidays are here.
Yippee!
Plenty to celebrate and cheer.
Woo - hoo!
We started the day with social play
early in the morning.
At 10 am, our children were performing
their concert items
for one last time in their costumes.
Everyone was doing
everybody's dance.
At 10:30 am, we sang the birthday song
to Uncle Bryan.
Our children made the birthday cake
the day before.
True story.
Here are the photos.
Listening to instructions. |
See how attentive the children are? |
From the first whisk ... |
to the next ... |
and next ... |
and next ... |
the batter was nicely mixed. |
It was as if we had used ... |
an electric mixer. |
The texture is ... |
surprisingly silky. |
Eventhough we didn't use ... |
much strength. |
Just a few whisks ... |
from ... |
each ... |
of our children. |
You've got this. |
Easy does it. |
Teacher Eliz inspects the batter. |
Teacher Eliz says the batter was nicely
mixed and was very smooth.
Our children did a good job!
Back to the present ...
So ...
Our dining table was a sight to behold.
What an incredible feast we all had.
We had Uncle Bryan's birthday cake,
Teacher Eliz's homemade chocolate cake,
Jamie's Christmas donuts,
school's macaroni carbonara
and rainbow ice-cream with
Min Zhe's marshmallows.
Totally awesome.
Beyond yummy.
I want some more!
I want some more!
I want some more!
At 12 pm, it was time to distribute our goodies.
Our children brought some goodies
to contribute to our goodie bags.
Seriously.
Nothing would have prepared us
for the overflowing, most generous
and abundance of goodies
contributed by our parents today.
We are humbled and touched
by the love, support and generosity
of our parents towards our
Children's Year End Party / Christmas party.
Thank you very much for helping us
make the last day of school
so wonderful for all our children!!!
Pause to reflect.
A silent wish.
A secret thought.
A grateful smile.
Our hearts are filled with joy
as we look back at 2023
and all the blessings we have received
from each and every one of our
children and families.
We take this opportunity
to wish all of you a
Merry Christmas,
Happy Holidays
and the most wonderful
New Year 2024!
2024
Cheers! |
