Puzzles are a great way to create a fun learning opportunity for young children.
Benefits of a simple jigsaw puzzle :
Helps children to handle materials, refines motor skills and develops finger strength (for pencil grip later).
Enhances patience, perseverance and determination.
Picking up, moving, twisting, turning the pieces to fit enhances memory, hand-eye coordination and critical problem solving skills.
Promotes a sense of pride to the child when puzzle is completed.
